Hideo Kojima not allowed to attend The Game Awards

Being the creator of the Action Adventure Stealth series Metal Gear Solid and the father of Stealth based games, Hideo Kojima was not allowed to attend The Game Awards this year to accept the awards for Best Soundtrack and Best Action Adventure game for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain as well as being Nominated for Game of the Year and Developer of the Year for Kojima Productions. After having Kiefer Sutherland accept the award on the behalf of Hideo Kojima, Geoff explained the reason why Kojima was not allowed to attend The Game Awards was due to an "employment contract" from Konami even though Mr. Kojima had "every intention to" be at The Game Awards. The animosity between Kojima and Konami has been on the rise since the cancellation of Silent Hills with Guillermo Del Toro and Norman Reedus, but Konami has pushed it too far to not let the man who created the series - his baby - accept his award. Not Cool, Konami.
