What is the Con Artist?
The Con Artist was created by J. Aaron Delgado for live updates on all things geeky in the most creative, yet simple, manner. We are devoted to bringing our readers news in gaming, films, television, animation, conventions, technology and everything else between the lines of nerdy and geeky. A Jack of trades, so to speak. Based in Los Angeles, we come in great peace and information.
Our name originates from the events we grew up with and still attend for fun's sake, conventions, or cons. Many of us at The Con Artist attend them not only to cover the event, but to hang out with friends, attend panels or meet our favorite voice actors, devs, artists and other people in the industry we look up to. We found that our love for cons perfectly fits with the name of our company. Together, we create and share art in the form of photos or literature to inform you of news, which puts the artist in our name. Add those two together and we get The Con Artist!

J. Aaron Delgado

J. Aaron, founder of The Con Artist, works for his creation with a passion. He loves attending conventions, reading comics, watching movies, playing video games and all things geeky. J. Aaron is also a cosplayer and regularly attends nerdy-themed events in cosplay, his favorite being his Riot Gear Glenn from Season 4 of The Walking Dead. As the lead photojournalist, he covers events and conducts interviews with many con attendees and industry officials. Alongside doing nerdy things, he is currently a full-time college student working toward his Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry at the University in Los Angeles. His hobbies include photography and he works as an intern in the film industry. Though it sounds like a lot of work, he finds the balance between business and fun.

Ryan Ordaz

Born and raised in the city of Los Angeles, Ryan currently works as a food representative at a company called Guckenheimer. Servicing people with various foods and cuisines, Ryan attends also East Los Angeles College to achieve a degree in communications. Ryan had the opportunity to play an abundance of video games and watch amazing movies in his life. Reading anything relating to the industry also has him hooked. Video games have always been important to him ever since he was child. Playing in a world's that can fascinate and have some sort resilient idea to them was such a beautiful idea to him. Movies have also inspired him as well; Star Wars, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, Rocky, The Terminator and Mission Impossible films are movies that he absolutely cherished when he was child. Ryan hopes to do the same for other people with his reviews of movies and games.

This red head is all about that nerd life. Melissa has a bachelors degree in journalism and streams full-time on Twitch. A lover of role-playing games, she's working her way through both new and old titles, sometimes in cosplay. Also a huge fan of tabletop gaming, she hosts a Dungeons & Dragons campaign every Friday on her channel. When she’s not working or streaming, you can find her fighting the endless struggle to keep up with her animes and mangas.
