Fear The Walking Dead begins production

AMC recently posted a behind the scenes video featuring Robert Kirkman and the production crew with them discussing what there is to expect for the series that will be airing very soon. Fear The Walking Dead, which is a spin off of The Walking Dead, is based in Los Angeles, California right before the outbreak of walkers. Though the video clip does not show any of the show's actors, it does show briefly what the sets are like; one scene shows an interior shot of a classroom or hospital looking location while another shows a brief shot of Sunset Boulevard as well as other exterior shots.

Though there has been no exact confirmed date when Fear The Walking Dead will premier, it is said that it will premier in July but possibly a little later. It is confirmed that newcomers to the series do not have to watch The Walking Dead in order to understand the spin off, which will bring a completely new story separate from the Television and graphic novel story arcs.
