Age of Ultron's Alternate ending as described by Joss Whedon (SPOILERS)

For those who saw Avengers: Age of Ultron this past weekend witnessed the appearance and passing of a potential avenger at the moment, Quicksilver. Many had liked his presence on the feature film and have wondered what his fate would have been if he had lived. The audience figured that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, both siblings and debut characters in the recent Avengers film, are like Ying and Yang, which definitely puts Scarlet a toll on Scarlet by the last act. In recent interviews with Age of Ultron director Joss Wheadon had stated that he filmed a separate, or alternate ending, which QuickSilver is living and survived the bullet wounds and joins the Avengers with a new suit. Joss Whedon digresses in an article with Empire
“We did actually shoot him in the last scene, in an outfit, with his sister. We also shot him, waking up, saying, 'Ah, I didn’t really die from these 47 bullet wounds!' Actually, we shot something else with that, but... maybe I’ll let you know about that later. But the intent was to earn this, and then you have to stand by it.”
The director also added that the Blu Ray's release will also include delted scenes from Age of Ultron that did not make it to the big screen. We can hope for the deleted and alternate ending with Quicksilver alive and breathing, but until then what ending do you think fits better with Age of Ultron? Would you have liked to see Quicksilver reprise his role in future Marvel studios films?
